This course shows you how to deploy aggregate storage databases in Oracle Essbase. You learn the fundamental differences between block storage and aggregate storage databases and requirements for database design and deployment. You learn how to convert existing block storage database outlines to aggregate storage and how to create aggregate storage databases. You also learn about database partitioning as it relates to aggregate storage databases and about MDX for building member formulas. You finish with an in-depth discussion of time intelligence.
